The customer can configure their own upgrade window in the dashboard under '-->deployments--> sites and active directory'
There's one field for the connectors upgrade window and another for the VAs
Note that both VA's won;t try to update at the same time. One will apply the update and the second will not attempt to apply it until the first has succeeded. So even if it fails there will still be one VA up and running which would be pretty unlikely to be noticed by any end users.
