add cisco ID account to contract for SW download

Look up your original order ID

Look for the PAK code

Go to https://ccrc.cisco.com

Look up the PAK code,  here you can find the contract number

Follow these instructions

  • Go to Cisco Profile Manager
  • Select 'Access' tab
  • Click on 'Add Access'
  • Choose 'Full Support' and click on 'Go'
  • Enter service contracts number(s) in the space provided and click on the 'Submit' button.

Can you add user@email.com to the contract 123456789 (Cisco anyconnect Apex) or tell me what has to be done to allow this.

claim PAKS from Cisco

http://www.cisco.com/go/license

smart account -> virtual account

PAKs or TOKENS view is default

Get licenses -> From a new PAK -> Next

Usually you need the serial number from the device. If updating ASA always use the serial from the primary ASA.

licenses on checkpoint

cplic print (check your license)

Buy new license from CP
Download license xml file from CP User Center
Winscp the xml file to both firewalls
cplic contract put -o <file name>.xml

You might need to change shell to bash to get winscp to work
chsh -s /bin/bash admin

Adding a license on ASA

You can request and apply a demo license (lasts 30 days) while you wait for the real license to be purchased.

Email [ licensing@cisco.com ] with the model [ASA5505] and serial [ xxxxxxxxxx ] and them to send you a [SECURITY PLUS K9] demo license.

When you get your new license purchased.

Go to http://www.cisco.com/go/license

Add your pak number

Fill in the serial of the device

You will get an email from cisco with the license

xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx

On the deivce do
conf t
activation-key xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx

Note:  For some new license settings to take effect a system reboot may be required.Software License Agreement
